Before she made jewelry, and even before she wrote literature, Pontvieux always loved to draw and paint as well. However, for lack of time, and because she went on to pursuing other interests, she didn't touch a painting canvas for over twenty years.
It took the 2020 pandemic to fan the flames of her old passion. With lots of free time on her hands and thanks to a very thoughtful present from her husband, who presented her with a brand new easel, boxes of paint, paintbrushes and a collection of canvasses, she's painting again with a vengeance.
